House League

Our House League is your first team experience with hockey! Participating in a full season from mid-October to mid-March, players will have two practices and one game each week. Our House League players have advanced from Learn to Play Hockey and have a strong foundation of skating skills. These skating skills are reinforced and improved throughout the season, in addition to a better understanding of hockey and how it is played. Games are played on half-ice to encourage more puck touches and skill development.

The 8U League is for players eight years old and under and the 10U League is for nine and ten-year olds. Both leagues have four teams that will practice and play together. All games and practices are held at the Goggin Ice Center, and all registered players are placed on a team.

Travel Hockey

Travel Hockey is for the committed hockey player looking for a higher level of competition. The Jr. RedHawks have travel teams at the 10U, 12U, 14U, and High School age classifications. With full-time hockey directors and a dedicated coaching staff, the Jr. RedHawks can implement a developmental approach to allow our players to progress at all stages within our program and advance to higher levels when ready.

Positions on our Travel Teams are secured through tryouts, where players are selected for teams where they will have the best opportunity to continue their development. Teams are dependent on the number of participants. These teams practice twice a week and play games on the weekend, both at home at the Goggin Ice Center and away at opposing rinks within the tri-state area.
