Youth. Voices. Writing. These words come alive at the Ohio Writing Project Youth Writing Camps. Imagine a week where young writers fill classrooms, notebooks, and the campus with their words. The Ohio Writing Project (OWP) High School Writing Workshop is a week-long teen writer's workshop OWP specifically designed for teen writers in high school who are interested in exploring writing craft, building writing confidence and sharing their voice across various modes of writing. Throughout the week, writers participate in a variety of writing workshops, learn composition strategies to strengthen writing, experience the campus community including the rec center, college pizza and walking tours, and share their writing in public spaces. Writers can bring current writing projects or be inspired during the week.
