It is extremely easy to be able to study multiple different areas in your time here at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú, and advisors support this. Being a well-rounded individual is extremely important to me. During my school days, I am able to showcase my STEM side but also my creative side.

How did you choose what to study at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú?

Along with my love for musical theatre, I am extremely passionate about conservation and the sustainability of wildlife. I decided to major in biology and environmental science because I want to change the world in more ways than one. ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú allows me to really develop and curate all of my passions into a degree that I can get in four years, and I did not have to give any of my passions up after leaving high school.

What do you enjoy most about life on campus?

I love afternoons I spend in King Library, the Slant Walk walks to Uptown to get boba, and the hammocking sessions with my friends in Western Campus. I love saying ‘Love and Honor!’ whenever I see someone in a ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú shirt anywhere across the country! I am so proud to be a ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉúan.

How has your ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú experience been so far?

I’ve met my lifelong friends here. I cannot imagine having the quintessential college experience anywhere else. The ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú community is so accepting and ready to ace whatever is hurled at them, and that is a trait that I see of students across campus. They are ready to take learning head on, no matter how hard the material is.
