Students will have the opportunity to declare dual specialties, in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. The 66-credit-hour online program specializes in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. The program requires students to take 48 credit hours of core classes, six credit hours of clinical mental health specialty courses, six credit hours of school counseling specialty courses, and an additional six credit hours of internship. Dual-track students do not take additional elective courses. The dual-track is to be completed in three academic years. A student who wishes to graduate with dual specialization must meet the degree requirements for both specialties. CACREP requires 600 hours of internship for each specialty area; 1300 field placement hours are required for the dual degree.
