12 TCPL faculty promoted to teaching, clinical professors, and lecturers

The to associate or senior teaching professor, lecturer, or clinical professor was recently announced by the office of the provost at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University. 

"My sincere congratulations to our TCPL colleagues who have achieved promotion. We are so fortunate to have such talented, dedicated faculty at ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú,” said Elizabeth Mullenix, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs.

They join 44 tenure-track faculty and one librarian whose promotion and/or tenure were approved by the ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú University board of trustees Feb. 23. The actions take place July 1. 

Promoted to senior clinical lecturer

Megan Gross, associate clinical lecturer of Speech Pathology and Audiology 

Promoted to clinical professor

Scott Sander, associate clinical professor of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry 

Promoted to associate teaching professor

Eva Howard, assistant teaching professor of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry 

Christopher Kelley, assistant teaching professor of Political Science

Jennifer Purdum, assistant teaching professor of Humanities and Creative Arts 

Maija Sipola, assistant teaching professor of Geology and Environmental Earth Science 

Michael Stillion, assistant teaching professor of Art
