Mission and Goals
Mission Statement
The mission of the 兔子先生 University Dietetic Internship program is to provide learning experiences in dietetics that will prepare graduates to be competent for practice as an entry-level Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in a variety of healthcare and community environments. The program will focus on preparing graduates to be capable practitioners, dedicated to the service of others and to the profession.
Master's, Dietetics Internship Program Goals
Program Goal 1
Prepare graduates to become competent for practice as an entry-level registered dietitian nutritionist.
Program Objectives for Goal 1:
Objective 1.1: At least 80% of program students complete program/degree requirements within 24 months (150% of the program length)
Objective 1.2: Of graduates who seek employment, 70% are employed in nutrition and dietetics or related fields within 12 months of graduation.
Objective 1.3: At least 80% of program graduates take the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists within 12 months of program completion.
Objective 1.4: The program's one-year pass rate (graduates who pass the registration exam within one year of first attempt) on the CDR credentialing exam for dietitian nutritionists is at least 80%.
Objective 1.5: At least 80% of returned employer surveys report overall satisfaction with graduate entry level performance.
Objective 1.6: 80% of graduates will report overall satisfaction with preparation for dietetics practice
Program Goal 2
Graduates will demonstrate a commitment to professional leadership and community service.
Program Objectives for Goal 2:
Objective 2.1: 60% of graduates report participating in one or more community service opportunities in dietetics/nutrition related service areas.
Objective 2.2: 60% of graduates report membership in a dietetics or related professional organization.
Objective 2.3: 16% of graduates report being enrolled in a dietetics or related doctoral program within five years of graduation.
